A Poetic Healer For The Broken Heart πŸ’”


As a kind reminder, it’s okay to be exactly where you are in your healing journey.

A string wraps around the heart:

  • A broken heart is fragile. It’s okay to be guarded, to have a difficult time with vulnerability.
  • To alleviate the tightness in the chest, be kind, patient, and gentle with yourself while you process the emotional pain.

The string stitches the tear and mends the dark:

  • Transmute the pain of heartbreak into healing: listen, nurture, and sit with the emotions of grief, anger, and hurt.
  • Understand the red flags, mistakes, and relationship dynamics of past relationship(s).
  • Let go of the past: accept what happened, forgive, and try not to romanticize the good times.

The string unravels from a beating heart:

  • A bloodstream of love from yourself and loved onesβ€” self-acceptance, intimacy, trust, and vulnerability β€” heals.
  • When connecting with others, observe reactions to past trauma(s) of heartbreak β€” there may be triggers that block the flow of love. Fear often disguises itself as loving protection to shield you from past hurt.
  • Believe in the freedom of love, vulnerability, and trust. Each time you give and receive love, your heart goes beat, beat, beat!

It’s nice to know how we as humans can connect with one another, universally, with these experiences. ❀ It reminds me that we are not alone when we go through these moments of inner healing. Also, how are your metaphorical "squats"?!

      • Isn’t it beautiful that there could be this resonance / connection?….Energy is a free flow irrespective of geographical location or a human form. It helps a lot in knowing that we aren’t alone…coz sometimes it feels like I’m the only one in this world but I’m not…haha…my metaphorical squats are going great….after a couple of days of huge “setback & fatigue”, I’m able to do “squats” mindfully….I’m observing closely how I’m feeling coz when this fatigue (Snapping/ painbody) affects the near & dear ones, then it affects me exponentially….how about you & your deeper / inner squats? ❀️

That makes me think that connection goes beyond the physical, that energy connects people on the soul level! πŸ˜› When you speak about your squats, you bring in your loved ones! You care so much for your emotional well-being and are mindful about creating space for those around you! Squat on, Navin! πŸ™‚ I feel like I’m building a mental momentum of confidence. However, it’s challenging to not react to limiting beliefs of self-doubt. I did have a moment yesterday where my spirit reminded me of the presence of observation mode (LOL), and this definitely helps the most in helping me to “squat”. πŸ˜›

      • Yeah, connection goes beyond the physical….the energy can be felt…thank you for your beautiful words…I’m loving “Squat on, Navin”…it’s spot on…touched my heart though others would find these “squats” silly & funny…but it doesn’t matter to me…I’m glad to read you’re building a mental momentum of confidence…just the way you write…I can tell, you surely are building…”The presence of observation mode”….interesting….sometimes we’re the observer deep within, watching & observing ourselves….keep practicing your squats…I did yesterday, the physical ones as well while I was doing mental ones πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚β€οΈβœ¨

Haha, I’m so happy to hear that you embrace the weirdness of the squat metaphor (it’s interesting to hear that it may seem strange and silly to others, I think this way and it’s very normal to me)! πŸ˜‚ Thank you Navin, I didn’t realize my written words reflect the change in my mental state but I feel like that is true. πŸ™‚ Haha, exactly, being the observer always brings the heart into the peace of the present moment. Sometimes the observer mode happens spontaneously, other times it seems to happen deliberately (i.e. in meditation).
